Flozell Blevins was born on January 4, 1935, in Curtis, Arkansas, to the union of Christine McNeil Jones and Lymon L. Williams. At an early age, she accepted Christ as her Savior and became a faithful member of Mt. Friendship Baptist Church in Curtis, Arkansas. On September 29, 2026, the Lord called His daughter, Flozell, home to be with Him.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories that will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lymon L. Williams and Christine Jones; her siblings, Mozell Dangerfield, Fayrene Ellison, Ben Louis Williams, Judith Steinmen, Ocie Jones, and Mary Jean Williams Bunting; and her grandson, Brandon Kentrell Blevins.
Flozell leaves to cherish her memory her one and only devoted child, Kenneth Wayne Blevins; granddaughters, Kandyce (Christopher) Williams and Bert Iesha Gray; sister, Lennell Joiner; brother, John Williams; grandchildren, Zariya McKenzie Williams, Aiden King Blevins, Kamryn Callie Williams, and Andre Kia Blevins; a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.Her life was a blessing to those who knew her, and her memory will forever be treasured by her family and loved ones.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Ms. Blevins will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 9, 2026, at Williams Funeral Home, Caddo Street, Arkadelphia, Arkansas 71923.Interment will follow at Piney Grove Cemetery. “Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.”
