An assistant band director two months into his one-year contract has resigned from his post at Arkadelphia High School.
School board members learned that the turf should be finished in time for the 2022 football season.
The event will be held Friday, July 22, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Goza Middle School.
Dr. Glendell Jones Jr., the newly named 17th president of Henderson State University, told the newspaper his goals for running the university were making sure students are challenged, nurtured and retained. “I’m in a position to do a lot for this university,” he later told a reporter.
