Clark County real estate transactions recorded Aug. 1-27, 2026, having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names. A variety of factors, including improvements made to a home or property, are considered in real estate prices that may increase from when the seller bought the property.
Lucky Liquor is returning to the south side of Pine Street following a property exchange between its proprietor and Percy Malone, a longtime Arkadelphia businessman, pharmacist and former state lawmaker. In a $520,000 deal, Malone purchased the 3,472-SF building at 3002 Pine St., currently home to Lucky Liquor and once home to his flagship AllCare Pharmacy retail business. In turn, Malone sold Lucky Liquor proprietor, Jason Bright, the former Sears location at 2919 Pine St. for $420,000. The old Sears building (soon to be Lucky Liquor) houses 7,168-SF of retail space, and trusted sources tell us that a drive-through window has been added to the northern wall of the building since the property swap was formalized this month. Bright, a Central Arkansas optometrist, has held one of the county’s five available commercial liquor store permits for retail liquor and retail beer off-premises sales. The original Lucky Liquor location was razed in recent years to make way for the Arkadelphia Bypass.
Moving on to land and residential property exchanges, Troy and Kimberly Tucker are buying 180 acres of mostly pasture in the Manchester community. The Rainwater Revocable Trust, with co-trustees Mike and Kathy Rainwater signing off on the deed, are selling the land in a $477,000 deal. The property, located west of and adjacent to White Road and south of Darby Road, also contains timber and a pair of quarries.
For $475,000 Randy and Tamlea Weems sold a 3,220-SF home on a 40-acre spread of mixed timber and pasture at the 900 block of Central Road. Buyers are Cole and Shelby Weems.
Billie Murphy sold her 2,098-SF abode at the 1600 block of Northridge Drive, Arkadelphia, for $260,000. Buyers are James and Amanda Busbea. Murphy, who now lists a Russellville address, and her late husband Bob bought the place in 2015 for $153,000.
Sylvester Brewer III is buying a 1,476-SF home at the 400 block of Clinton Street, Arkadelphia, for $182,000. Sellers are Scotty and Chelsea Serio, who bought the property in 2021 for $148,000.
Two blocks to the east, a 936-SF brick home at the 200 block of Clinton Street sold to Lee Ann Chambers for $129,500. Sellers are Samantha Roybal and Mark Allison. Roybal, who now lists an address in Fort George G Meade, Maryland, bought the domicile in 2023 for $90,000.
Gage and Kaitlin Yelverton are buying a 1,905-SF home at the 2800 block of Sylvia Street, Arkadelphia, for $178,500. Sellers are Patricia and Robin Green, et al. Patricia Green, f/k/a Patricia Kelly, bought the place in 2021 for $129,000.
In Caddo Valley, a 1,229-SF home at the 100 block of West Dodson Street sold for $155,000 to Matthew Norman. Sellers are Brett and Kristie Burks.
Taylor Jarvis is buying a 1,413-SF brick home at the 1500 block of Center Street, Arkadelphia, for $135,000. Sellers are Adam and Robyn Godwin, et al. The Godwins bought the home in 2011 for $69,000.
In the Gurdon area, Rusty and Angela Ledbetter are buying 22 acres of mostly timber situated along US Highway 67 near its junction with Smithton Road. The property sold to the Ledbetters for $120,000. Sellers Larky and Cindy Reeves, of Arkadelphia, purchased the land in 2024 for $56,000.
For the consideration of $114,388 Freedom Mortgage Group, by way of mortgagee’s deed, acquired a 1,386-SF brick-and-frame home at the 200 block of Phillips Drive, Gurdon. Former buyers Spencer and Celeste Collins agreed in 2025 to purchase the property for $159,000.
