Jackie David McKin, age 73, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at his home. He was born May 21, 1953, in Prescott, the son of the late Earnest (Jack) and Ruby Hughlene Freeman McKin.
David was a graduate of Arkadelphia High School. He was retired from International Paper Co. and Georgia-Pacific in Gurdon. David enjoyed listening to the radio, playing his guitar and being outdoors. His life will continue to be honored through the generations of his family, especially through the young lives who will grow up hearing his name and the love he had for them.
David was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sharon McKay and one son, Jeremy McKin.
Survivors are one granddaughter, Miana Ann Davis Volz (Alex) of Arkadelphia, two great-grandchildren, Rosemary Anne Volz and Raiden Timothy Volz.
