The top residential sale in the past two weeks was for a 2,763-SF new build in Arkadelphia’s newest subdivision, Northridge Estates. Truman Vo and Sara Shockey are buying the $560,000 home at 141 Shepherd Loop Drive. Selling the property is Nicky Goff’s NCG Investments LLC.
Highlighting the past two weeks’ land sales is the $1.18 million sale of about 600 acres of timberland at Tate’s Bluff, between the Ouachita and Little Missouri rivers and north of the streams’ confluence. Buying the property is Ax’em Timber Services Inc., registered to Taylor Watson. Previous owner was Jim Heath Jr., of Longview, Texas.
For $390,000 Arkadelphia attorney Alan LeVar, d/b/a EAL Properties LLC, is buying Keith Runyan’s Wallstreet in the Woods commercial office building at 2911 W. Pine St. Runyan bought the 2,526-SF space in 2007 for $150,000.
Jeffrey and Sheryle Phillips are buying a 2,036-SF brick home on Magnolia Drive, Arkadelphia, for $290,000. Former owners Bobby Jr. and Gail Gravett bought the property in a land-only sale in 1995 for $22,000.
Brian and Erika Harris, et al, of Quinlan, Texas, are buying 156 acres of timberland for $270,000. The property, located off of Boswell Road near Okolona, last sold in 2020 to Ed Givens and Rosemary Walker’s Sparkman-based Cypress Break Land & Timber Inc. for $2.6 million.
For $255,000 Hollis and Marica Thaxton, of Gurdon, are buying 80 acres of timberland northwest and adjacent to Interstate 30 between Sticky and Center Point roads. Former owner Jim Heath Jr., of Longview, Texas, bought the land in 2022 for $212,000.
Jeremy and Kaitlin Broome are buying a 1,700-SF brick home at the 1000 block of Phelps Circle for $225,000. Previous owners Jerry Jr. and Amanda McMillion, of Durham, North Carolina, bought the place in 2002 for $81,000.
Sharon Powell, of North Little Rock, is buying 110 acres of timberland off of Center Grove Church Road for $175,000. Previous owners are John and. Melinda Bland, et al, of Laguna Vista, Texas.
For $170,000 Kevin and Heidi Jester are buying 60 acres of timberland south of Mt. Olive Road and accessible by Beals Road. Previous owners are Dan Dipert and Larry Snodgrass, d/b/a D&L Timber Ventures, of Burleson, Texas. D&L bought the land in 2011 for $93,000.
A 1,200-SF home at the 2600 block of Elaine Street, Arkadelphia, sold to JJA8 Properties LLC, registered to Jessica Arnold, of Arkadelphia. Former owner Ashley Knight, of Alexander, bought the place in 2023 for $150,000. Arnold is paying $155,000.
Chris and Angela Smithpeters are buying a 1,736-SF mobile home and 4 acres at the 6000 block of Arkansas Highway 8 West for $143,000. Previous owner Marilyn Seller, of Trinity, Texas, bought the place in 2013 for $65,000.
David and Mary Covington are buying a 1,840-SF home at the 100 block of North 20th Street, Arkadelphia, for $107,100. Previous owner Daniel Reavis bought the property in 2022 for $95,000.
