Angeline Graggs-Ware

Angeline Antoinette Graggs-Ware was born March 22, 1962, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Barbara and Fletcher Graggs. She passed away peacefully June 3, 2026. She was the youngest of the four living children.

A proud graduate of Parkview High School in Little Rock, Angeline was known to all as “Ann” (and affectionately nicknamed “Fat Rat” by those close to her). Had a smile that could light up any room. She loved music, dancing, basketball, and football but above all she lived for softball. Playing shortstop with impressive skill, she and her sister Deb played together on a team called the Jr. Deputy Sheriff Park, creating some of her fondest memories. After High School, Angeline attended Henderson State University. She married John Ware. While that marriage eventually ended it blessed her with two children, Tiffany Hill and Jasmine Ware and a bonus son Brenton Sumler, whom she loved dearly.

Angeline went on to work and had a strong determination. She served as Riveting Supervisor at Morse Automotive for many years, running her department with precision and directness. Later, she earned her Associate Degree in Business Administration from the Ouachita Technical College and went on to work as a molder at LM Glass Fiber in Little Rock, Arkansas.

What truly made Angeline who she was, though, was her deep faith. She loved church whether in person or virtual. She cherished family above all else, looking forward to Sunday meals, celebrating holidays with loved ones, and pouring her heart into her grandchildren. Hearing their voices brought the biggest joy and brightest smile.

She is preceded in death by Grandparents James and Lucy Wynn, Charles and Eliza Kimbrew, Sibling Spencer Scott Graggs, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is survived by her parents, Barbara and Fletcher Graggs; her children Tiffany Hill (Glenn Hill), Jasmine Ware, and Brenton Sumler (Tina Sumler); her siblings Daphyne Graggs (Pastor Sandy Williams), Fletcher Graggs Jr. (Barbara Graggs), Debbie Graggs and Shanti Hill. She is also survived by her grandchildren, McKenzie Ware, Isaiah Ware, Madison Hill, Anthony Hill, Carter Sumler, Evan Sumler, Ethan Sumler, Cadence Sumler, Tatyana Sumler, and one great grandchild Zyair Garrett.

Arrangements are under the direction of Williams Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
