Jacob Edwin Bryant, age 40, of Gurdon, passed from this life on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. He was born November 29, 1985, in Arkadelphia, the son of Joseph Edwin and Edmonda Renee Masimore Bryant.
Jacob was a 2004 graduate of Arkadelphia High School. He was employed by Group Living and the Bee-Hive. Jacob enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching TV and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Edwin Bryant and his step-mother, Mandy Bryant.
Survivors are his father, Joe Bryant of Gurdon, his mother, Edmonda Bryant of Gurdon, two sisters, Felicia Thompson (Chad) of Arkadelphia, Stephanie Hughes of Malvern, step-brother, Colton Miller of Benton, grandparents, Ada Ruth Bryant of Gurdon, Gene and Anna Sue Kinder of Gurdon.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Welch Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Pennington officiating.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM Thursday until service time.
