Camden police probing fatal stabbing

Authorities in Camden are investigating a fatal stabbing incident that happened this weekend at an Adams Street dive.

At about 1:10 a.m. Saturday, May 23, the Camden Police Department was called to the Ten O Five club, where they found an unresponsive Isiah Laudermilk on the ground suffering from an unknown number of stab wounds, according to a press release from the agency. Laudermilk, 21, was transported by ambulance to the Ouachita County Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased.

A second victim, an adult female, was also treated at the hospital for non-life-threatening stab injuries.

James Finks

Witnesses at the scene described the suspect as a black male, possibly driving a silver Chevy. He was identified as James Finks, who was located at his residence in Camden and taken into custody without incident.

Finks, 25, was being held on charges of first-degree murder and aggravated assault, according to online jail records.
