Of the 57,382 active Covid-19 cases in The Natural State, there were 447 active cases in Clark County, according to information from the Arkansas Department of Health.
The local figure is up from the 296 active cases reported last week. The state’s totals have more than doubled since the beginning of the year; the health department reported 26,577 total active cases in Arkansas on Jan. 3.
Since figures have been tallied, there have been a total of 3,992 cases in Clark County, with 66 Covid-related deaths. There have been a total of 9,314 deaths in Arkansas, according to ADH.
In neighboring counties, Hot Spring reported 522 active cases, Dallas reported 124, Pike reported 128 and Nevada 158. Garland County is reporting 913 active cases, and Ouachita County is reporting 404 cases.
