An Arkadelphia native who earned her undergraduate degree at Southern Arkansas University will be among the Class of 2026 graduates who receive their medical degrees from New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine at Arkansas State on Friday, May 22.
Camille Tedder will receive her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree during a ceremony that will be held Friday afternoon at A-State’s First National Bank Arena in Jonesboro.
Following the completion of medical school, physicians attend specialty training to become board certified and practice on their own. Tedder will perform her residency in obstetrics and gynecology (OB/GYN) at Spartanburg Medical Center in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
NYITCOM at A-State, which opened in 2016 through a private/public partnership between Arkansas State University and New York Institute of Technology on Long Island, N.Y., operates out of Wilson Hall on A-State’s Jonesboro campus. The Class of 2026 is the seventh to graduate from NYITCOM’s Arkansas location.
