James Louis “Jack” Daniel, age 100, of Amity, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at his home. He was born May 23, 1925, in Midway, the son of the late Lewin and Tina Kirksey Daniels.
Jack was the owner and operator of Jack Daniels Auto Sales and Jack Daniels Mobile Homes. He was a member of Oak Grove Community Church. Jack enjoyed playing music, riding horses and working his cattle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Lou Daniels, one brother, Edge Daniels and one sister, Vernell Daniels Taylor.
Jack is survived by his wife, Roxye Daniel of Amity, one daughter, Jackie Anderson (John) of McKinney, TX, three sons, Jim Daniels of Bismarck, Damon Daniels (Tonia) of Amity and Tim Daniels (Michelle) of Amity, fifteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and thirty-three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, September 22, 2025, at Oak Grove Community Church with Bro. Kevin Moss officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Monday at the church.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to Oak Grove Community Church or Cemetery Fund.
