Jamie Kay Lawrence, age 59, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Wednesday July 23, 2025. She was born on March 27, 1966, in Little Rock, the daughter of the late Robert and Jamie Dell Montgomery.
Jamie worked as a manager for Atwoods for many years, and O’Reilly’s for fourteen years, and owned and operated a recycling business years ago in Arkadelphia. She was a member of New Life Church in Arkadelphia. Jamie enjoyed fishing, singing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Jimmy Montgomery, one cousin, Kelly Brown and one aunt, JoAnn Porterfield.
Jamie is survived by her step mother, Beverly Montgomery of Judsonia, one daughter, Nicole McGuire (Donny) of Glenwood, two brothers, Paul Smith (Catherne) of Scott and Edward Smith of Judsonia, one sister, Robin Eakin Davis (Cory) of Scott, four grandchildren, Hudson McGuire, Levin McGuire, Trent McGuire and Karissa McGuire, one nephew, Cooper Eakin of Scott, a host of aunts, uncles, extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Welch Funeral Home with Bro. Martin Jones officiating.
No visitation is planned.
Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Glenwood (Montgomery County).
Memorials may be made to New Life Church, 139 High School Dr, Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
Pallbearers are Curtis Wright, Donny McGuire, Cory Davis, Justin Bell, Al Floerchinger and Paul Smith.
