Danny Golden

Daniell Carroll (Danny) Golden, age 69, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia.  He was born January 26, 1956, in Arkadelphia, the son of the late James Loyd “Bud” and Geraldine Daniell Golden. Danny was a graduate of Arkadelphia High School class of 1974 and a graduate of Central State University in Edmond, OK with a degree in economics. 

He was a retired charter bus driver for J & T Charters of El Dorado and Little Rock Transit as well as a sales rep for Williams Sausage Co. for many years.  Danny was the Pastor at Unity Baptist Church in Arkadelphia.  He enjoyed all sports, especially golfing with family and friends.  Danny was a member of the chain gang for Henderson State Reddie Football games and the scoreboard operator for Reddie Basketball for many years.  

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry Golden. 

Danny is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Paula Kay (McMillan) Golden of Arkadelphia, two sons, Daniell Golden (Gabrielle) of O’Fallon, MO and Christopher Golden (Abigal) of St. Charles, MO, six grandchildren, Andrew, Samuel, Scarlet Jo, Clark, Jackson and Cooper, three brothers, David Golden (Judy) of Arkadelphia, Donny Golden (Gail) of Arkadelphia and Gary Golden of Lake Jackson, TX, one very special uncle, Tracy Daniell of Arkadelphia and several nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service may be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Second Baptist Church with Bro. Joe Burt officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time Tuesday at the Church. 

Private family interment will be in Shiloh Cemetery. 

Honorary pallbearers are the Arkadelphia High School Class of 1974.
