Ronald Wayne Ricketts, age 65, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born September 1, 1959, in Wichita, KS, the son of Roy and Mary Lockridge Ricketts.
Ronnie was a 1978 graduate of Gurdon High School. He and his wife co-owned and operated Ricketts Trucking Co. Ronnie was a member of First Baptist Church of Gurdon. He enjoyed all sports and music.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his daughter, Alicia Michelle Ricketts.
Survivors are his parents, Roy and Mary Ricketts of Gurdon, his wife, Tammy Williams Ricketts of Arkadelphia, two sons, Matthew Roy Ricketts (Misty) of Gurdon and Jason Wayne Ricketts (Sylvia) of Starkville, MS, one brother, Jerry Ricketts (Jane) of Curtis, four grandchildren, Conner, Maddisyn, Alexis and Ezra.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 2, 2025, at First Baptist Church in Gurdon with Bro. Randall Murphy and Bro. Chris Williams officiating.
Interment was in South Fork Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to American Family Association or PreBorn.
Pallbearers are Matthew Ricketts, Jason Ricketts, Conner Ricketts, Kyle Norman, Pete Stringer, Philip McGuirt, Stephen Pennington and Chase Shepherd.
