Pat Danny Davis, age 88, of Delight, passed from this life on Friday, May 23, 2025, at Nightingale Health and Rehabilitation Center in Glenwood. He was born March 24, 1937, in Rocky, OK, the son of the late Samuel Ronald and Lola Mae Dutton Davis, Sr.
Pat was a retired minister having surrendered to preach at the age of 16 and retiring in 1999. He was a member of Delight First Baptist Church. Pat was a Master Mason, Scottish Rite and York Rite. He enjoyed driving trucks and reading in his free time.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Danny Paul Davis, one sister, Helen Thompson, five brothers, Ronnie Davis, Jr, Dale Davis, Fred Davis, Will Davis and Bob Davis.
Survivors are his wife, Jackie Maxey Davis of Delight, one daughter, Lori Allgood (Steve) of Delight, one son, Mike Davis (Debbie) of Delight, three grandchildren, Mikee Miller, Katie Allgood and Mitchell Ryan Allgood, and eight great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Delight Cemetery with Pastor Verlon Wood officiating.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Scottish Rite Hospital, P.O. Box 122027, Dept 2027, Dallas, TX 75312-2027.
