Mr. Robert Frank Anderson Sr. was born in Okolona, Ark., on October 25, 1937, to Joe and Evelyn (Phifer) Anderson. He received his formal education and graduated from Bell High School in Gurdon. He found Christ at an early age and was a member of the New Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Richmond Hill. He was known affectionately by all who knew him as Frank.
Frank was a quiet man who enjoyed spending time watching westerns on television. He met and married the love of his life, Martha Payne Anderson, and unto this union five children were born. Frank and Martha lived in married bliss for 62 years. They were only separated when the Lord called him home. Even then, his loving wife remained by his side. Frank loved his family and was a true outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, logging, and anything that allowed him to be in the woods. He was a hardworking man all his life. He became an independent logger and later in life owned his own logging business. When his health began to fail, he then retired.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Evelyn Anderson; and two brothers, Joe and Lawrence Anderson.
Robert Frank Anderson Sr. leaves to cherish his memories his beloved wife of 62 years, Martha Payne Anderson, of Gurdon; three sons, Anthony (Sun) Anderson, Robert Anderson Jr., and Terry (Stephanie) Anderson, all of Gurdon; two daughters, Cecelia Anderson (Ricardo) Gonzalez of Duncanville, Texas, and LaWanda Anderson of Hope; one goddaughter, Mary Washington Moore; one godson, Jimmy For; one brother, Alfredie Anderson, of Lansing, Mich.; two sisters, Ruth Thomas and Barbara Williams, both of Lansing; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two aunts, Opal Rice, and Roberta Anderson, both of Topeka, Kansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

Terry Sr. is pastor. Minister Beau McKenzie will serve as eulogist. The burial and final resting place will be in Piney Ridge Cemetery in Gurdon.
