Arkadelphia unveils 2025 events calendar

ARKADELPHIA, Arkansas — Farmer’s Markets, fun runs, movie nights and festivals are on the calendar for the City of Arkadelphia’s Special Events team in 2025. 

This year’s calendar features 23 family-fun events for area residents and visitors to attend. Recurring events include the city’s Cinco de Mayo celebration, the End of Summer Blowout, Main Street Trick or Treat, and the Mid-South Music Festival (formerly known as the Arkadelphia Festival of the Arts).

New in 2025, the city’s special events team will host an Aviation Expo at the Arkadelphia Airport, a Color Run 5K for Breast Cancer Awareness and a holiday-themed kids festival, complete with holiday-themed bounce houses, train rides, a petting zoo, and pictures with Santa.

Other 2025 events include:

• Main Street Farmer’s Markets on the first Saturday of June, July, and August

• Six (6) holiday-themed movie nights

• The annual Doggie Dip

• Feaster Trail lighting event

“Our 2025 events calendar showcases the continued growth and success of our community,” said City Manager Gary Brinkley. “Our dedicated special events team is constantly exploring new ways to connect with residents, while elevating the events that have become annual traditions. 2025 promises to be an exciting year with something for everyone.”
