The Clark County 4-H clubs are seeking new members. The purpose of these clubs is to give youth ages 5-19 an opportunity to participate in the youth development educational program of the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service.
Youth in 4-H clubs will learn life skills, enhance leadership skills, and increase self-esteem while serving in community service projects. Youth in 4-H clubs have an opportunity to compete in competitive activities, attend camps, and earn scholarships for education. The following is a list of the Clark County 4-H clubs, where, and when they meet:
Centerpoint 4-H Club meets the first Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm at the Nightingale at Glenwood.
Leau Frais 4-H Club meets the third Tuesday of each month at 5:30 pm at the Youth Building at the Clark County Fairgrounds.
Shining Stars 4-H Club is currently not meeting. Contact the Extension Office for more information or if you are interested in becoming a volunteer leader.
Gurdon Light 4-H Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Food Pantry in Gurdon.
Seeds & Sprouts 4-H Club (NEW) meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 11 am at the Food Pantry in Gurdon.
Shooting Sports 4-H Shotgun meets at the Clark County Fairgrounds in Arkadelphia at various times. Contact the Extension Office for more information.
Shooting Sports 4-H BB and Archery meets each Monday at 5:30 pm at the Old Reserve Center at the Airport in Arkadelphia.
Teen Leader 4-H Club (for active 4-H youth ages 12-19) meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 pm at the Youth Building at the Clark County Fairgrounds in Arkadelphia.
Livestock Project 4-H Club meets at the Youth Building at the Clark County Fairgrounds. Meeting times vary. Contact the Extension Office for more information.
Shutterbugs Photography Club (NEW) meets the second Thursday of the month. The club began meeting in January 2025 and will meet every other month.
