Dust off your dancing shoes! The City of Arkadelphia is excited to announce plans for its first annual Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dances scheduled for February 2025.
Both events will be held at the Recreation Center. The Father-Daughter Dance is scheduled for Feb. 21, 2025, and the Mother-Son Dance for Feb. 28, from 6-8 p.m.
“We’ve received numerous requests from parents to host these events, so we’re excited to see everything coming together,” said Special Events Manager Halle Mann. “Secure your tickets and join us on February 21 and 28!”
The dances will feature music by DJ Last Minute and AV Arkadelphia, as well as flowers for each couple courtesy of Mary & Martha’s, baked goods from Bakes by Bree, and a fun photo booth with props for families to enjoy.
Tickets are $20 for one parent-child duo. Additional children can be added for $10 per child.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 6 a.m. and will be available until Friday, Feb. 14, at 11:59 p.m.
Day-of tickets will be available at the door for $30 per parent-child duo.
