The City of Arkadelphia issued 13 building permits with an estimated construction value of $676,040 for the month of November 2024.
The estimated year-to-date value of construction jobs in Arkadelphia now totals more than $11.94 million.
Records were obtained from the city’s Building Department under the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act and include valuations of work except where omitted from reports. Here’s a rundown of permits issued in November 2024:
A new single-family dwelling is under construction at 141 Shepherd Loop Dr. in the new North Ridge Estates subdivision. NGG Investments is listed as owner; K Smith Building Co. is the contractor; Tim Londreth Home Design (Maumelle) is the architect. The square footage of the home was not listed in the report. Estimated construction value is $588,455.
A permit was filed to demolish the Clark County Library Annex at 612 Clinton St. Owned by Clark County and used for storage, Hartsell Farms (Donaldson) was hired for the demolition. The job cost $7,160.
Another Clark County demolition job, also awarded to Hartsell Farms, will raze a single-family dwelling at 505 S. 4th St. The home was burned in a fire in April 2023. The demolition cost $14,925.
Ouachita Baptist University filed a permit to replace some framework at Lancelot Apartments on South 4th Street. The job cost $1,000.
