Lions Club pancake fundraiser Oct. 19

The Arkadelphia Lions Club will host a fall fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 19, 2024. The all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast will take place at the CADC Arkadelphia Senior Activity Center, 1305 N. 10th St.

Net proceeds from the fundraiser will be benefit the Arkadelphia Lions Club, a local nonprofit volunteer group that aims to improve health and well-being and support visual aids for those in need in Arkadelphia and Clark County.

The fundraiser will begin at 7:30 a.m. and last until 10:30 a.m. The breakfast will consist of pancakes, sausage, bacon, coffee and juice; take-outs are available. The cost is $5 per plate. Meal tickets can be purchased in advance from Arkadelphia Lions Club members, and will be available at the door.

Lions Club is a charitable service organization of more than 1.4 million volunteers in 202 countries striving to meet the needs of communities including ending preventable blindness and providing supplies to victims of natural disasters among many other service projects. The organization was founded in 1917 in an attempt to bring volunteer talents together to improve communities.
