Elizabeth Gasaway

Elizabeth Lyons Gasaway, born on Dec. 3, 1975, in Gurdon, Arkansas, passed away on Aug. 25, 2024. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished daughter and a beloved sister who touched the lives of everyone she met with her warm spirit and infectious smile.

Elizabeth was the Director of Enterprise, PMO for Cognosante, a company she was very proud to be a part of for many years. In this position she demonstrated her exceptional leadership and organizational skills. Her professional accomplishments were matched only by her dedication to her family and community.

She was the love of her husband’s life, Bryan Gasaway, with whom she shared 20 wonderful years of marriage. Together they raised their two children, Ethan and Addison Gasaway who also reside in Bryant.

A woman of profound faith, Elizabeth loved the Lord and was deeply committed to her church family at Indian Springs Baptist Church. She found joy in serving as a Sunday School teacher and in sharing her knowledge and love for the faith with others.

Elizabeth’s personality shone brightly in every aspect of her life; she never met a stranger and had a remarkable ability to light up any room she entered. Described as selfless and caring, her warm nature and kindness left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her.

Among her many interests, Elizabeth took delight in nurturing plants and enjoyed the tranquility of being near water whether it was the beach or the lake. A true shopping enthusiast she had a particular fondness for finding the perfect pair of shoes.

Elizabeth’s proudest accomplishment was her devotion to caring for her family whom she adored deeply.

Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, Bryan Gasaway, and her two children, Ethan and Addison Gasaway all of Bryant; her mother, Patricia (Patty) A. Lyons of Hot Springs; her two brothers, Jason Lyons and wife Valarie, of Amity, Ark., and Adam Lyons of Hot Springs; her sister-in-law, Alisa Logan and husband Jason of Alexander; her father and mother-in-law, Edwin and Donna Gasaway of Hot Springs Village; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved Elizabeth and will miss her always.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronnie J. Lyons, whose memory will be held close to the hearts of her family.

Elizabeth’s legacy of love will continue to inspire her family and friends.
