Mildred Roberson

Mildred Mae Roberson, age 105, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Saturday April 6, 2024, at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation in Arkadelphia. She was born on February 13, 1919, in Hollywood, the daughter of the late Giles and Lorena Mae Walsh Clark.

Mildred was a 1938 graduate of Okolona High School worked as a seamstress for Munsingwear in Arkadelphia for many years. She was a member of Gum Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Mildred enjoyed sewing, reading, quilting, and crocheting in her free time. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Wayne “Hap” Roberson, two brothers, Ronald Clark, and J. F. Clark, one sister, Gladys Holder, one son, Ronnie Roberson, and one infant daughter, Linda Lee Roberson.

Mildred is survived by one son, Larry Roberson (June) of Little Elm, TX, one daughter, Brenda Karber (Jim) of Arkadelphia, three grandchildren, Allen Karber of Arkadelphia, Cint Roberson of Grapevine, TX, and Jillian Larkin of Dallas, TX, five great grandchildren, Avery, Abby, and Gracie Roberson of Grapevine, TX, Tobias Hap Larkin and a baby girl on the way of Dallas Tx. 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday April 11, 2024, at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Bro. Kenneth Anderson and Bro. Mike Powell officiating.

Interment is at Bethel Cemetery in Okolona.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday April 10, 2024, at the Funeral Home.
