Nettie Cleola McDill, age 87, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Friday, August 9, 2024, at Nightingale Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. She was born October 26, 1936, in the Piney Community, the daughter of the late Ernie B. and Lola Mae Jester Freeman.
Cleola was a homemaker and a member of Third Street Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James Ernie Freeman, her husband, Jim McDill and one sister, Mayetta Wilson.
Cleola is survived by one daughter, Ginna McDill of Arkadelphia, one son, Randy Dixon (Tanya) of Arkadelphia, one sister, Evelyn Bettis of Arkadelphia, three grandchildren, Mathis McDill (Lexi), Hayley Hughes (Jeremy) and Jeffrey Dixon (Alexis), and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Welch Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Williams officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Golden Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Mathis McDill, Jeffrey Dixon, Ricky Francis, Dicky Francis, Mitch Bettis, Tim Freeman, Calvin Francis and Guy McDill.
