Beryl expected to dump up to 6 inches of rain on Southwest Arkansas

Tropical Storm Beryl is forecast to eventually move onshore sometime Monday along the Texas Gulf Coast, and curve to the north and northeast toward Arkansas by late Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service in Little Rock.

The remnants of Beryl look to bring some areas of heavy rainfall to portions of Arkansas as what is left of Beryl moves over the state.

Forecast rainfall from Monday through Wednesday night will be on the order of 2 to over 5 inches for many locations of Arkansas as what will become the remnants of what is now Tropical Storm Beryl is forecast to move over the state.

Locally, 4-6 inches of rainfall is possible for all counties in Southwest Arkansas from Texarkana to Little Rock.
