Dora Daniels

Dora May Albert Daniels passed from this life on May 16, 2024. She was born on January 10, 1949, in Hot Springs, AR to W. A. Temis and Mildred Bledsoe. Dora will be missed by many. She had the biggest heart of anyone you would ever meet. She loved her friends and family with all her heart. She truly would rather give than receive. She was a great educator, spending a great deal of her life as a teacher in the Mountain Pine and Gurdon School Districts.

She had a green thumb like no other. She loved to grow way too many vegetables each season so she could share them with everyone she knew. She would quickly cook a meal for someone who was sick. She adored her grandchildren more than anything. Dora made a great many sacrifices in her life for those that she loved, but never complained once. Dora was proceeded in death by her parents, W. A. Temis and Mildred Bledsoe, two siblings, Wanda Jones, and Maxine O’Neal, one son, Jason Sipe, and her previous spouse, Dale Albert.

Dora leaves behind her husband, Jim Daniels, her son, Don Ashley, her daughter DeAnne Davis (David), two step sons, Kent Daniels, and Tracy Daniels (Kristin), three sisters, Brenda McGregor (Larry Teague), Janice McMahon (Wade), and Margie Horton (Dean), one brother Warren Bledsoe (Jane), six grandchildren Cora Ashley (Perry Lewis), Connor Ashley, Emilee Davis, Alyssa Davis, Ryan Davis, and Evan Davis, niece, Vanessa Hardenson (Derrick) and a host of other nieces and nephews.

A Memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday May 21, 2024, at Welch Funeral Home in Arkadelphia with Bro. Kevin Moss officiating.

Final arrangements are entrusted to The Welch Funeral Home of Arkadelphia. Visit www.welchfh.net to sign the guest book and view the video tribute.
