Felony Friday: May 3, 2024

We’re presenting a roundup of felony charges filed between April 29 through May 3, 2024, by the Clark County Prosecutor’s Office. The following names and charges, which are contained within public documents, are gathered from online court records available through ARCourts. Here’s a rundown of felony cases filed this week:

State vs. Keegan Miguel Lee, residential burglary. The charges against Lee, 20, of Rockport, stem from an April 19, 2024, incident at Creekwood Apartments in Arkadelphia. Lee allegedly attempted to force himself into a resident’s apartment but was unable to do so when she blocked the door with her foot. The landlord called police after observing the incident.

State vs. Imran Arif, aggravated assault. The 45-year-old owner of a Phillips 66 gas station at Interstate 30 and state Highway 53 is accused of pointing a pistol at a customer on April 24. The customer, an Irving, Texas, truck driver, had stopped at the station to use the restroom and wash his face; afterward, Arif allegedly threatened the customer because there was water left on the bathroom floor.

State vs. Penny Renee Self, possession of a controlled substance Schedule I, II meth cocaine between 2-10 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia. Self, 44, was arrested on March 4 at Motel 6 in Caddo Valley. Self and another female, Tammy Trammel, were taken into custody when police used assistance from a confidential informant and the parole fugitive task force to build a case. In the room police found 5.7 grams of methamphetamine and paraphernalia to ingest it.

State vs. Casandra Gail Diehl, possession of a controlled substance Schedule I, II meth cocaine less than 2 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia. Diehl, 29, was on active felony probation when on March 26 her parole officer searched her wallet to find a syringe loaded with methamphetamine.

State vs. Tyler James Tatum, breaking or entering, theft of property less than $1,000. Tatum, 19, was one of three suspects accused in an April 15 vehicle burglary at Walnut Square Apartments. Police were able to identify Tatum from surveillance video they acquired showing him to break the car window and take a backpack from the vehicle. In an interview with police the next day, Tatum admitted to the theft and breaking the window.
