Charles Kenneth Bettis, age 83, of Donaldson, passed from this life on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at his home. He was born December 3, 1942, in Sparkman, the son of the late Alge and Lois Holloway Bettis.
Kenneth was a graduate of Sparkman High School. He was retired from Hurley Printing in Camden and the DeGray State Park Golf Course. Kenneth was a member of Caney Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed working in his yard and working on old cars in his free time.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Roy and Tommy Bettis.
Survivors are his wife, Sharon Golden Bettis of Donaldson, one son, Tony Bettis of Italy, one daughter, Kimberly Wilson (David) of Conroe, TX, one step-son, Jody Davis three grandchildren, Van Bettis (Megan) of Tampa, FL and Eric Wilson (Chelsea) of Spring, TX, and Heather Bettis of Houston, TX, and one sister-in-law, Rene Bettis of Dallas. Kenneth loved his church and his friends and family with everything he had.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, August 24, 2026, at Caney Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Ralph Ruffin officiating.
Visitation will from 1:00 PM until service time on Monday at the church.
Interment will be in Prairie Bayou Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Caney Missionary Baptist Church Building Fund.
