Lisa Michelle (Hembey) Hill, age 61, of Delight, known by those closest to her as “Micki” passed from this life on Friday, April 5, 2024, at CHI St. Vincent Medical Center in Hot Springs. She was born December 20, 1962, in Arkadelphia, the daughter of the late Thomas Patrick “Pat” and JoAnn Kirkpatrick Hembey of Delight.
If you knew Micki you knew her as a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to cook and was wonderful at it. Micki loved gardening and everything about the outdoors and nature. She was affectionately known as “Nanny”. Micki was definitely a product of the old school generation. She loved her sunflowers and star gazing, but most of all she loved hanging out with her many family members and friends.
Micki was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors are her husband of forty-three years, Dennis Hill of Delight, one daughter, Brittany Hill Smith (Shaun) of Delight, one son, Joshua Hill of Delight, one brother, Tony Hembey of Delight, grandchildren, Dillin and Dalton Hembey, McKenzie Hill, Brody, Braxton and Asher Smith and one great-grandchild, Emberlyn Rose Bishop, several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at the Delight Cemetery pavilion with Bro. Jerry Hightower officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Tuesday at the cemetery.
