
Ricky Lee Hastings, age 69, of Prescott, passed from this life on Tuesday March 26, 2024, at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, LA. He was born on June 15, 1954, in Camden, the son of late John and Mary Dowings Hastings.
Ricky was a retired overland truck driver and former owner and operator of Norman’s 44 Restaurant in Prescott. He was a member of the Cowboy Church in Hope. Ricky loved spending time with family, trucking and riding motorcycles in his free time. Ricky decided to give the gift of life as his last kind act here on earth by being an organ donor to help others in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Joseph Hastings, and one brother, Billy Hastings.
Survivors are his wife, Cheryl Ann (White) Hastings of Prescott, four sons, Josh Hastings of Plain Dealing, LA, Patrick Hastings of Plain Dealing, Clint Hastings (Gabby) of Plain Dealing and Adam Hastings (Mikki) of Okolona, five grandchildren, Heather Hughes of College Station, TX, Britney Hastings Wright (Connor) of Berryville, Aimee Schobey (Madison) of Hope, Elizabeth Rogers (Logan) of Okolona and Holden Hastings of Bossier City, and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 6, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Prescott with Bro. Andrew Godwin officiating.
