Mary Elizabeth (Trigg) Jones, age 92, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at her home. She was born on July 22, 1933, in the Degray community, the daughter of the late Cyril and Mallie Jones Trigg.
Mary was a 1951 graduate of Arkadelphia High School. She retired from the Department of Human Services where she held many jobs including County Director, County Administrator, Case worker, and Economic Medical Service Supervisor.
Mary was a long-time member of Park Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling, playing card games, bird watching, being with family, walking, gardening, helping with meals on wheels, baking cookies, and spending time with the Lord.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clyde H. Jones, two brothers, Luther Trigg and Roy Trigg, two sisters, Tennie Trigg and Marjorie Kennedy.
Survivors are one son, Harold W. Jones (Barbara) of El Dorado, one sister, Lula Myers of Arkadelphia, two grandchildren, Susan Dilworth (Jeff) of El Dorado and Brad Jones (Chanda) of El Dorado, five great grandchildren, Jake and John Dilworth, Nova, Myla and Wren Elizabeth Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at Park Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Craig Seals officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until service time on Wednesday at the church.
Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
