JoAnn G. Counts Shuffield, age 88, of Bismarck, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at CHI St. Vincents in Hot Springs. She was born on January 20, 1936, in Bismarck the daughter of the late Gus and Ada Sanders Counts.
JoAnn was a member of Bismarck First Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, Baking, Gardening, and flower arranging.
JoAnn is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Paul Shuffield Sr., two sisters, Bonnie Nichols, and Ruby Montgomery, four brothers, Johnny, Clinton, Eugene, and Lovie Counts, and one great grandson, Alex Spradlin.
Survivors are two sons, Paul Shuffield Jr. (Kristine) of Arkadelphia, and Ron Shuffield (Debbie) of Bismarck, one daughter, Becky Hughes of Bismarck, seven grandchildren, Summer Calhoun (Brent), Sarah Robinson (Brandon), Ryan Shuffield (Adi), Spencer Shuffield (Kristen), Nicholas Shuffield, Bradley Shuffield (Amanda), and Harrison Shuffield, nine great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday March 29, 2024, at Old Bismarck Cemetery in Bismarck with Bro. Fred Hunter officiating.
