James Earl Honeycutt, age 70, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at CHI St. Vincent’s Infirmary in Little Rock. He was born August 25, 1953, in Little Rock, the son of the late Dale D. and Helen Rose McCauley Honeycutt.
James was a retired truck driver and electrician. He was a member of The Pentecostal Church in Arkadelphia. James enjoyed hunting, playing dominos and spending time with his family in his free time.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Jimmy and Garland Honeycutt, two sisters, Beverly Baily and Diane Morelock.
James is survived by his wife, Teresa Echols of Arkadelphia, one son, David Honeycutt (Teresa) of Arkadelphia, one daughter, Ashley Failla (John) of Arkadelphia, two brothers, Bill Honeycutt (Jackie) of Scranton, PA and Vernon Honeycutt of Malvern, two sisters, Joyce Honeycutt of Bauxite and Carla Green (Mike) of Bauxite, four grandchildren, Xander Kinard, Zoe Failla, Isaac Honeycutt and Stella Honeycutt.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, September 30, 2023, at The Pentecostal Church of Arkadelphia with Bro. Richard Price officiating.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at the church.
Graveside services and burial will be at 2:30 PM Saturday at Salem Cemetery at Bee Branch.
