
The Lions Club of Arkadelphia will be hosting the 8th annual First Responders’ Appreciation Dinner on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the Arkadelphia Recreation Center, 2555 Twin Rivers Dr.
Each year the dinner serves to show the community’s appreciation for all first responders do to keep residents safe and protected. Police officers, firefighters, EMTs, game wardens, volunteer firefighters, deputies and all other responders from Arkadelphia, Amity, Gurdon, Caddo Valley and other communities within Clark County are invited. They will be served a dinner, at no cost to them, with a program that includes speakers, presentations and door prizes. This year’s dinner will be catered by Ouachita Valley Meats.
Lions Club is seeking donations from local organizations and businesses, whether monetary to help fund the meal or door prizes for the first responders. The names of all businesses, organizations and individuals who donate will be displayed on a banner at the event and on each program.
