Sammie K. Stewart, age 75, of Hot Springs, formerly of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Monday, February 5, 2024, at CHI St. Vincent’s in Hot Springs. She was born September 8, 1948, in Arkadelphia, the daughter of the late Frank and Ruby Abner Gordon.
Sammie was a graduate of Arkadelphia High School and attended Henderson State University. She worked for the Green Stamps Store and Piggly Wiggly years ago. Sammie enjoyed arts, crafts and antiquing in her free time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Kenny Stewart.
Sammie is survived by her son, Scott Stewart of Bryant.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Atchley Cemetery in Dalark with Pastor Brady Lane officiating.
Visitation will be held from 12 Noon to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Special Olympics.
