Archie Lynn Pittman, age 81, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Twin Rivers Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia. He was born November 13, 1944, in Antioch, CA, the son of the late Charlie Mitchell and Fern Adams Pittman.
Archie was the owner and operator of Unique Barber Shop in Arkadelphia for forty-two years and was a licensed barber for fifty-two years. He was a member of Arkadelphia Masonic Lodge #381. Archie was a member of Third Street Baptist Church. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and traveling in his free time.
Archie was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors are his wife of fifty-one years, Relda Burton Pittman of Arkadelphia, one daughter, Angela Richerson of Arkadelphia, two sons, Charlie Pittman (Gayla) of Arkadelphia and Matt Pittman (Jennifer) of Arkadelphia, five grandchildren, Eric, Jacob and Justin Richerson, Jessika Bates and Andrew Pittman, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Third Street Baptist Church with Bro. Greg Lathem officiating.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday evening at Third Street Baptist Church.
Interment will be in Jones Cemetery at Amity.
Pallbearers are Charlie and Matt Pittman, Eric, Jacob and Justin Richerson and Shawn Morgan.
