The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Monday, Jan. 29
3:45 p.m.
A 12th Street resident reported a protection order violation.
Tuesday, Jan. 30
4:52 p.m.
A mute man on Clinton Street communicated to police that he had been run over by a known person who drove away from the scene. He was transported to the emergency room. Police were later requested back at the residence to speak with the driver, who explained the accident and said he would be in contact with his insurance agent.
Police investigated an endangerment to a minor’s welfare at an unlisted location.
Thursday, Feb. 1
A school resource officer cited a minor for possession of vape.
Officers were requested to a downtown restaurant, where equipment being unloaded from a truck fell onto a vehicle and caused damage.
Friday, Feb. 2
Officers investigated a breaking or entering at an unlisted location.
Police investigated a complaint of terroristic threatening at an unlisted location.
Saturday, Feb. 3
Police investigated an aggravated robbery at an unlisted location.
Sunday, Feb. 4
4:05 a.m.
Officers responded to Pine Court Apartments, 120 N. 20th St., for a complaint of four people outside yelling. The group dispersed upon police arrival. Officers made contact with each of them and learned that the altercation stemmed from theft accusations against one of the people involved and threats with a knife. Two of the people said they were only spectators to the ensuing yelling match. No arrest was made.
Police investigated the theft of a firearm at a 25th Street residence.
2:15 p.m.
Yomiya Lashay Nero, 31, was arrested at Carpenter Hill Apartments, 670 S. 6th St., for third-degree domestic battery after officers responded twice to the location for a complaint of an altercation involving Nero and a male.
7:43 p.m.
A Bismarck woman reported the Jan. 17 theft of a wallet from her vehicle parked at Walmart. An unidentified suspect activated her unused credit card at the store, using it to purchase a jar of Nutella.
