REAL ESTATE: Lower Lake land sells for $725K

Clark County real estate transactions recorded Dec. 1-15, 2023, having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk, online real estate records via actdatascout.com and the Arkansas Secretary of State. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names.

Highlighting this round of real estate transactions is the $725,000 sale of a home on 57.5 acres inset by federal property. Kirk and Amber Goodrum purchased the mixed timber and pasture acreage, which is located off of Lookadoo Road west of Lower Lake and includes a 1,860-SF frame siding home and an 896-SF mobile home. Previous owners Richard and Julie Stokes bought the property in 2013 for $376,000.

Disiere Timber LLC purchased 250 acres of timber from Cabe Real Estate Properties LLC for $634,000. The land is located on East Whelen Road. Disiere Timber is registered to David Disiere of Little Rock, and Cabe Real Estate is managed by Joanne Mulcahy.

For $385,000 Richard and Marilyn Freitas bought a 3,281-SF brick home and 6.46 acres on Belle Drive, off of Mt. Zion Road. Previous owners were M. Russell and Phyllis Cerrato.

Dennis and Jo Ann McMasters purchased a 2,344-SF brick home and an adjacent house lot on Pinnacle Drive, in Arkadelphia, for $325,000. In separate transactions, previous owner Nina Phillips bought the properties for $246,000 in 2004 and 2005.

For $195,767 Ricky and Rebecca Cowden bought a 1,396-SF frame siding home and 2.39 acres at the 3000 block of Country Club Road, in Arkadelphia. Previous owners were John and Nonnie Caldwell.

David and Cathie McAllister purchased a 1,606-SF brick home at the 1900 block of Walnut Street, in Arkadelphia, for $190,000. Previous owners Raul and Kennedy Martinez bought the property for $115,000 in July 2023.

For $160,000 Ragina Spears bought a 1,584-SF frame siding home and 20 acres of mixed pasture and timber at White Road, in East Clark County. Previous owners were Sharon and Noah Keeling.

Steven Plyler purchased a 1,877-SF brick home and adjacent house lot on North 9th Street, in Gurdon, for $120,000. Previous owners Christopher and Haley Neathery bought the property in 2018 for $52,000.

Rounding out this round of real estate is the $115,000 sale of a 984-SF brick home at the 1700 block of Walnut Street, in Arkadelphia. Barry and Shelly Woodard purchased the property from Jeremy and Magen Allen, who bought it for $100,000 in August 2023.
