Book signing planned for Gurdon author

Submitted information

Yvonne Truman is having a book signing at The Pantry in Gurdon, 7190 Highway 67 South, from noon until 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 9, for her book, Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places. Bring your book to be signed. They are available on Amazon, or you can order one while at the event. Light refreshments will be served.

Truman will also share tips on how to publish a book.

In the book, Truman has compiled what was recorded in red in the Bible — words spoken by Jesus — using many different translations of the Bible. When Truman was at the lowest point in her life, she studied the Bible more and more and started writing this book; she will tell you she is completely at peace in this season of her life. She wants everyone to know that Jesus is the only answer and way to heaven.

Truman is a faith-filled believer in Jesus Christ. One of the dedications in her book, verbatim: To my great, mighty, awe-inspiring God, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who loved us all so much that He died, went to the grave and got up for us so that in believing in Him we would have eternal life.

This book makes an excellent tool to use during regular biblical studies since it has Jesus’s words stated from many different versions of the Bible.
