A community festival is in the works for Arkadelphia as summer nears its end and students return to classes.
The second annual End of Summer Blowout will be held Saturday, Aug. 12, at Feaster Park, 2599 Twin Rivers Dr., and is set to feature regional food trucks, rock climbing, a Fear Factory ropes course, mini golf, bounce houses, soccer darts, music and fireworks. The four-hour event begins at 5 p.m. and ends at 9 p.m.
The Russellville-based Interstate Fireworks will put on a 10-minute professional fireworks show starting at 8:40 p.m.
