Sunrise Rotarians learn tools to become emotionally resilient

Sue Poole recently spoke to the Rotary Club of Arkadelphia-Sunrise. Ms. Poole is a Licensed Certified Social Worker with over 30 years of experience and is a staff member at Ouachita Baptist University’s Counseling Services.

She suggested many practical ways to protect our mental health and combat the epidemic of loneliness in our turbulent times. Her tips included: prioritizing sleep, spending time outdoors, noticing the everyday beauty around us, and seeking opportunities to laugh. Ms. Poole’s empowering message reflected Rotary International’s new initiative to prioritize caring for emotional well-being in our lives and communities.
