Peggy Walker

Peggy Jowan Walker, 75, of Friendship, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023at CHI St. Vincent in Hot Springs, Arkansas. 

She was born July 13, 1947, in Malvern, Arkansas, to Jesse Schweitzer and Irene Martin Schweitzer. 

Peggy loved spending time with her family, watching her youngest granddaughter, Willow and the music of Elvis Presley. She worked as a clerk for Wal-Mart in Arkadelphia.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Marty Schweitzer.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: Chris Hall of Texas, Mary Ann (Drew) Feldpausch of Hot Springs and Penny (Jeremy) McInroe of Magnet Cove; her nine grandchildren: Kirstyn Galicia, Andrew Hall, Allyson Hall, Lexy Hall, Stormy Walker, Jesse Walker, Morgan Michaelis, Kylie McInroe and Hally McInroe;  her five great grandchildren, Sophia Galicia, Emmy Galicia, Kamilla Galicia, Lily Galicia and Willow Michaelis;  her brother, Rick (Ellen) Scheweitzer; her sisters: Linda (Warren) Kerrigan and Beverly (Scott) Krey and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Monday, May 1, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.

Peggy’s funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home with Brother Bobby Goodknight and Brother Chris Rogers officiating.

Burial will follow at DeLamar Cemetery in Manning, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Willard Morrison, Jesse Morrison, David Cantrell, Spencer Morrison, Grant Edwards and Devin Michaelis. 

Arrangements are entrusted to Ruggles Wilcox Funeral Home, 517 Clay Street, Arkadelphia, Arkansas 71923.
