2 from Arkadelphia law firm get recognition at Arkansas conference

EUREKA SPRINGS — Several Arkansans were honored Thursday and Friday, April 27-28, by the Arkansas Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA). The awards were presented at ATLA’s 60th Annual Convention held at the Inn of the Ozarks in Eureka Springs.

Recipients include local attorneys, a judge, a citizen and two state senators. Recipients were honored for their contributions in protecting the rights and liberties of all Arkansas citizens and the American justice system.

“We are absolutely thrilled to present these awards to so many outstanding individuals who are working hard daily to protect the rights of all Arkansas citizens,” said outgoing ATLA President Sach Oliver. “This year’s award winners are particularly impressive. Their dedication and commitment to justice is something our whole state directly benefits from.”

Jessica Schoultz of The Chaney Law Firm was honored as the recipient of the 2022-2023 Outstanding Paralegal Award.

The Outstanding Paralegal Award is presented to a legal assistant in Arkansas in recognition of their outstanding service to the legal profession over the past year.

Other members of the Chaney Law Firm give Jessica credit for much of the firm’s success. “She taught herself about the law and the science behind our client’s injuries to better communicate with them,” said Taylor Chaney. “Simply put, we couldn’t have made it through the last year without her quick thinking, initiative and dedication.”
