Wilma Jean Malcom, age 80, of Okolona passed from this life on Saturday March 25, 2023, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born on August 16, 1942, in Ft. Smith the daughter of the late Avery and Nellie Randall Smith.

Wilma worked as a cosmetologist at the Silhouette Shoppe in Arkadelphia for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Wilma is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jerry Lee Malcom, four brothers, Melvin, Joe, Jerry, and Buel Randall Smith, and one sister, Katy Allison.

Survivors are one son, Kent Malcom (Anita) of Okolona, one daughter, Tina Malcom Rowe (Donnie Curran) of Gurdon, three brothers, Pat Smith (Kay) of Okolona, Jackie Smith (Vonnie) of Okolona, Marvin Smith (Betty) of Okolona, one sister, Elaine McCauley of Prescott, four grandchildren, Adam Rowe (Allison) of Okolona, Natalie Meeks (Daniel) of Caney, Amanda Bell (Justin) of Okolona, and Kelly Butler (Cole) of Okolona, nine great grandchildren, Bailey Rogers (Brannon) of Arkadelphia, Caitlin Cherry (Michael) of Arkadelphia, Aiden Rowe of Arkadelphia, Landon and Brady Meeks of Caney, Lainee Butler, and Logan Cox of Okolona, Vane and Cody (Alyssa) Kisselburg of Prescott, four great great grandchildren, Dolly and Delta Rogers, and Rowdy and Montana Cherry.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday March 28, 2023, at Okolona Cemetery with Bro. Charlie Williams officiating.

Visitation is from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday night at Welch Funeral Home.
