Frances Josephine Colvin White, age 91, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Nightingale Health and Rehabilitation Center in Arkadelphia.  She was born November 5, 1931, in Ruston, LA, the daughter of the late Thomas Earl and Floy Green Colvin. 

Josephine was a 1948 graduate of Ruston High School and a 1952 graduate of LA Tech University.  She was a Registered Dietician and worked for the Central LA State Hospital and LaSalle General Hospital as head of dietary services.  Josephine was a member of First Baptist Church in Arkadelphia. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clay White and one brother, James Colvin.

Josephine is survived by her daughter, Sue Poole (Stan) of Arkadelphia, three sons, Gary White of Sallisaw, OK, Paul White (Katie) of Keene, CA and Alan White (Robyn) of Prescott, AZ, one brother, Royce Colvin (LaNette) of Ruston, four grandchildren, Jesse White, Tonya Moreland, Anna Grace Franklin and Caroline Winkler, two great-grandchildren, River Moreland and Harris Winkler.
