Camden truck driver dies in Sheridan rollover

A Camden man driving a Mack truck was killed Wednesday in a one-vehicle accident in rural Grant County.

Jeffery Bernard Curry, 56, of Camden, died as a result of the March 22 accident, which happened on U.S. Highway 167 South, north of its intersection with Grant 7.

According to an Arkansas State Police fatal crash summary, Curry was traveling northbound in a 2015 Mack when he crossed the southbound lanes, exiting the roadway to the west and striking a ditch embankment, causing the vehicle to rollover. The truck would come to a final rest on its passenger side.

Curry’s body was being held at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. The accident happened at 12:45 p.m. The accident happened under clear skies and on dry roads, according to Trooper Dustin Arnold who investigated the wreck.
