The City of Arkadelphia issued eight building permits with an estimated construction value of $54,100 for the month of February 2023. The figure is down significantly from January construction work, which totaled $247,485. For the same period in 2022, the city issued 19 permits totaling $158,850 in estimated construction work.
Records were obtained from the city’s Building Department under the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act and include valuations of work except where omitted from reports. Here’s a rundown of permits filed in February 2023:
BBL Inc. hired Seiz Sign Co. of Little Rock to install a lighted wall sign over the entrance of an investment services office at 1400 Pine St. Valuation for the job was estimated at $3,500.
Jeremy and Amber Jones hired Fluent Solar LLC to install 13 solar panels on their home on Carpenter Street. Valuation for the job was estimated at $6,800.
Charlie and Brooke Montgomery hired Jack Keeling Siding of Arkadelphia to tear off and re-shingle a roof on a single-family dwelling at the 1100 block of Ritchie Street. Valuation for the the job was estimated at $4,000.
Rhett and Tori Womack filed a permit to add an 8’x14’ wall in their home on North 10th Street. There was no valuation.
Singleton + Stephens + Harris hired John Ross of Hot Springs to install a 14’x80’ manufactured home at the 1300 block of Clay Street. Valuation was estimated at $2,300.
John Kingdon hired Palmer’s Roofing LLC of Arkadelphia to re-shingle a layover on a roof of a single-family home at the 600 block of South 7th Street. Valuation for the job was estimated at $5,500.
Jerry Newman hired Keith’s Roofing LLC of Hot Springs to tear off and re-shingle a roof on a single-family home at the 1500 block of Millcreek Drive. Valuation for the job was estimated at $21,000.
Willie and Ethel Stephens hired Palmer’s Roofing LLC to tear off and re-shingle a roof on a single-family home at the 1500 block of Main Street. Valuation for the job was estimated at $11,000.
