REAL ESTATE: ArDOT acquires Walnut Street property

Clark County real estate transactions recorded Dec. 30 through Jan. 13 having a value of $100,000 or greater. Information is gathered from public records held by the Clark County Circuit Clerk. The Arkadelphian includes names of grantees, grantors, transaction price and property description available, and does not withhold names.

Jewel Binns purchased a 1,040 SF brick and frame home on Walnut Street in Arkadelphia for $125,000. The Dec. 30 transaction is being financed with a mortgage of $126,262 through Everett Financial Inc. and Supreme Lending. Previous owners Richard, Rhett, Brandi and Tori Womack purchased the home in 2022 for $70,000.

Leonte and Peter Popovici purchased a 2,142 SF brick home and an adjacent lot on Martha Court in Gurdon for $160,000. Previous owners Felicia and Ricky Smith bought the home in 2017 for $115,000.

Felicia Smith purchased a 1,500 SF frame siding home on Paradise Circle in Caddo Valley for $162,500. Built in 2007, the home last sold for $114,000 in 2019 to Raymond and Morgan Thomason.

Craig and Mary Robb purchased a 1,411 SF brick home on Hot Springs Drive in Caddo Valley for $131,900. The Jan. 9 transaction is being financed with a mortgage of $105,520 through Malvern National Bank. Previous owners Shannon and Nick Brodrick purchased the home for $117,000 in 2018.

The Arkansas State Highway Commission purchased a lot on Walnut Street in Arkadelphia from William and Belinda Wright and Don and Terri Chaney for $136,000.
