Thomas Marvin “Timer” Freeman Sr., 93, joined his wife in Heaven on Sunday, February 26, 2023. He was a resident of Hammond, LA.

Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Army where he served in the Korean Conflict as a paratrooper. He was a lifetime member of the Free Masons and a proud member of the NRA. In his younger years, Thomas was a phenomenal baseball player and went on to play in the Minor Leagues. He was a true Christian man who held strong to his faith. Thomas was a quiet man that tended to keep to himself, but he had an outstanding sense of humor. He loved his family deeply and will be missed by all who knew him.  

He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Jones; stepson, Dean Hicks (Kirk Bjork); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Thomas is preceded in death by his wife, Micky Freeman; parents, Thomas and Edna Freeman; sister, Marjorie Freeman Manning; and brother, Robert L. “Bobby” Freeman.

A cremation was held, and interment of the urn was done at Rose Memorial Cemetery.
