The following incidents were gathered from reports filed at the Arkadelphia Police Department and Clark County Sheriff’s Office. Names of arrested individuals were collected at the Clark County Detention Center on Crittenden Street in Arkadelphia. They are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law. The Arkadelphian does not withhold names from the arrest log, so don’t even think about asking.

Saturday, Feb. 18
7:48 a.m.
A South 5th Street woman reported a known male would not return the Mazda pickup truck she loaned him. The whereabouts of the vehicle and the suspect were not known.
10:43 p.m.
Officers investigated a report of an altercation involving threats at a Crittenden Street residence. The altercation stemmed from theft allegations made against the suspect. No arrest was made.
Friday, Feb. 17
9:23 a.m.
Possible abuse of a patient was reported at a nursing home.
12:11 p.m.
Officers responded to a Clinton Street residence for a welfare check and discovered an unattended death of an elderly male.
4:08 p.m.
A South 12th Street woman reported she believed someone had thrown rocks at her home but could not find the damage. Two days later she phoned police again to report finding dents in the metal siding and a torn window screen.

Steven Castro, 20, was arrested on charges of kidnapping and held for an agency in Texas.
Saturday, Feb. 18
Steve Scott Clark, 42, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for failure to appear.
Sunday, Feb. 19
Donnie Bearden, 38, was arrested for failure to appear.
Monday, Feb. 20
Anthony Wells, 31, was arrested for failure to comply with conditions of probation.
